How we use information

We use information you provide to respond to questions, review project inquiries, handle Academy registrations, provide requested services, operate and protect our website, and meet legal obligations.

AI Assistant

Codeliq does not keep a conversation history in the AI Assistant. When you use it, your messages are sent to OpenAI to generate a response. OpenAI’s standard API abuse-monitoring logs may retain API content for up to 30 days, unless a different approved retention setting or legal requirement applies. Please do not enter confidential or sensitive information into the Assistant. Its responses may be inaccurate or incomplete.

Website hosting and service providers

Our website is hosted using Google Cloud services. We use Google Workspace for email. We may also use service providers to operate website forms and the AI Assistant. These providers may process information as needed to provide their services.

When your browser requests a page, hosting services may process technical information needed to deliver and protect the website, such as your IP address, device or browser details, and request information. Any logs retained depend on the services and configurations in use.

Academy payments

If you make a payment for an Academy offering through our website, payment processing is handled by a third-party payment processor. Codeliq does not store full payment card numbers. The payment processor’s own terms and privacy policy also apply to your payment information.

How we share information

We may share information with service providers that help us host and operate the website, provide email, process payments, or operate the AI Assistant. We may also disclose information when required by law or when needed to protect Codeliq, our users, or others.

Sale of personal information

We do not sell personal information.

Cookies

We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. The website may use cookies or similar technologies needed for site operation and functionality. You can manage cookies through your browser settings; blocking some cookies may affect how parts of the website work.

Your choices and rights

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you by emailing hello@codeliq.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law.

Data retention and security

We keep information you send to us for as long as reasonably needed to respond, provide services, maintain business records, or meet legal requirements. We use reasonable safeguards to protect information, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Codeliq is based in the United States. Information may be processed or stored in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those where you live.

Children’s privacy

Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us so we can review it.
